About Us

Although, the culture is still mainly dominated by men.  Us Ladies are making tremendous strides.  Back in the 70's, 80's and even today, most car clubs didn't and still don't allow female members.  A lady's place was not in the driver seat, even though many of us worked just as hard  helping our significant others build their rides, helped with functions, took care of the children etc.  We did it all!  

I feel that by highlighting lady lowriders,  we can hopefully inspire younger girls to get their own lowrider, we can teach them the lifestyle.  We can show them how to stand together as Women, Mothers, Daughters, & Sisters.  

Us ladies aren’t props and remember the lowrider isn’t  either.   It's important to point out that some people are simply getting lowriders for their aesthetics and not for the lowrider lifestyle. 

It's also good to point out that some men lowriders haven't made it easy for us.  But this is not about anti-men; it's about us ladies expressing ourselves, loving our culture,  our love of cars, our expression of art and building strong communities.

So here we are, building  each other up,  empowering one another and battling the fact that we do belong in the driver seat.  I can think of only one reason some men want to keep ladies out of the driver seat,  "WE ARE A THREAT".   Lady Lowriders  have come a long way, our lowriders are beautiful pieces of art, they represent who we are,  our beauty,  our strength , our faith,  our love, OUR STORY.
